This was easy to install. Frankly, I hadn't paid attention to the maintenance schedule in the air cleaner manual, which includes wiping off the pre-filter every month or so. So when the air cleaner's "replace filter" light came on, I opened it up for the first time, and there was a felt-like layer of dust on the pre-filter. Still, easy to clean off, easy to replace the two parts of the filter, and it works much better now (embarrassment).
