Customer Review

This thing has lots of outlets, all positioned for the use of 90° plugs. It also seems quite heavy duty, and made by a UPS manufacturer (I tend to trust surge protectors more if they're made by UPS manufacturers). If you need extra protection for sensitive equipment (or don't have many outlets in your room) then this will work nicely.

Only problem: It's difficult to actually plug things into it! They go halfway in and the rest of the way takes quite a bit of extra force! I thought it was because the protector had the safety feature where you could shield unused plugs, and that it was a particularly sloppy implementation of it. But it doesn't! It's just designed that way. I guess it's good for holding plugs in and not being loose in that case, but compared to other surge protectors, plugging them in does take some effort!

Overall, If you can find APC's 12 outlet surge protector then I'd recommend it over this. But if you can't, then this will suffice.
