I was torn on buying these - the a20's are out now, and boast a better battery life, and there are complaints about the battery lasting all night on these, and the sounds being really limited and low quality.

I was also very worried, because normal earbuds stick out, and as a side sleeper, I can't wear them or my ears hurt. These are great - they don't hurt my ears at all since they don't stick out past my ear. I can lay down on my ear, and don't feel them pressing in at all. In fact, other than the sounds they make, it's easy to forget I'm wearing them. That's important if you're going to wear them for 8+ hours a night!

You can't see from the app how many sounds there are or what they sound like until after adding the headphones, so I bought these on hope, and when I got them, was pleased to see a very long list of sounds.

Now, if you're like me, most of the sounds (about half) won't work for you because they have music attached and I've never been able to fall asleep to music. But there are a LOT of sounds. For example, in looking for a rain sound, and ignoring any sounds with music, I have three sounds I can pick from (thunder, light rain, and rain).

I have sampled several sounds and the quality appears more than high enough for the purpose of these headphones. All in all, I'm very happy. Now for the bad/less great:

I did not buy these as multi-purpose earbuds, I bought them only for their ability to play sleep sounds. If I had wanted to use these all the time, I'd have been less excited. The sound isn't high fidelity like my other (much more expensive) earbuds. I have logitech and samsung buds, and they are all much better quality sound. Again, for my purposes, I don't care, I don't need more dynamic bass to fall asleep, but if you wanted to use these during the day and at night, they'll maybe be a little on the lighter side.

I also think their smaller size is a huge win for side sleepers but makes any attempt to control them on the earbuds a little hard. They sit sort of inside my ear, and don't stick out to make gestures natural.

Still, for my use: 5/5 stars for sure!
