This was probably the first skincare product I started using after several years of being resigned to washing my face with only dove soap and using a super sensitive unscented lotion. Several years ago, I had a terrible reaction to a facial and my face was red and peeling for weeks. Since then, my dermatologist recommended that I use only specific allergen free products, which definitely helped the redness and peeling to go away, but I was left with pretty dull skin that I didn't know what to do with. I was deathly afraid of trying any new products, but I was slowly won over by a sample of these facial radiance pads... I started using one every night and remarkably my skin did not have any horrible reaction!! Even better, I noticed right away that my skin did look brighter and more refreshed. I felt like it was the perfect addition to my bare bones skincare routine. Since I started using The First Aid Beauty brand, I've tried several other products from their line but the radiance pads seem to work the best so far. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that there is a slightly strong scent that takes some getting used to, not sure if it's due to the licorice root ingredient? But the radiance pads are still worth it for the gentle exfoliation they provide and the ease of use... I would definitely recommend to anyone with sensitive skin!
