I like this surge protector and for the price it's great. I'm not an electrician, not doing anything fancy here. Just using it more as an extension cord from an outlet under our bed to plug in an iPhone, kindle and laptop. Even though there are six outlets they are very close together and I find it hard to get use out of more than three at a time. A little icon indicates that you should use the outlet at the end for products that have those big boxy plugs which my kindle has. But if I want to plug in a second product that is boxy, like rechargeable camera batteries, that pretty much takes up the rest of the surge protector. Not a deal breaker but I hope they revamp the layout a little, maybe face the outlets in different directions? Not sure if that's possible engineering-wise. But for the price this a very convenient item and I like that it comes with an equipment warranty.
