While these N95 respirators are NOT recommended for infection control primarily because of the exhaust valve (your exhalant is not filtered but instead exits the valve), they are, nevertheless, good respirators for dust and for smoke during wildfires. The exhaust valve also makes breathing easier and this valve also reduces fogging should you wear glasses.
