Athough I've only had this humidifier a few weeks I am really happy with it. I went into this purchase knowing that I will only get a season or two of use out of it. Every other humidifier I have purchased in the past has failed so I do expect that here as well.
The unit itself looks very cool IMO. It holds a lot of water and I only need fill it ever 2-3 days. I like the digital controls although they are kind of hard to reach so low to the ground. I have not needed to clean it yet. It does come with a "demineralization cartridge" which is supposed to prevent the white powder dust from settling on everything. So far I have not seen any so it appears to be working.
So all in all, it is my favorite humidifier purchase to date. The cats are also fascinated by it.
Update Jan 3, 2024: unit completely stopped producing mist/humidity and instead water is condensing inside the clear cover. This is after only 2 weeks. Fortunately, I am still under return window. Unfortunately, I threw out the original box so I have to go hunting for one before taking to UPS. Lowering my 5-star review to 1-star... Off to try another brand... 😓😒
