This is the worst 3m mask or product that i've ever used, worth about $40 max for the 5-10 uses before it breaks beyond repair. Like other users, the connector piece to the bayonet cartridge was cheap plastic which disassembles entirely unlike the 6800 for $150 less. From gentle, regular use of adding and removing bayonet cartridges, the plastic connector joint eroded completely. It will snap into place if I hold the 2 widgets together with a new cartridge, but the cartridge will spin, not secure at all and clearly no seal, easy to test with any fragrance under the mask (it did nothing) as well as during breathing itself, no resistance at all. I thought the mask was good until I took off a cartridge and the plastic connector piece popped out total lack of security to keep it in place, fiddled for at least an hour trying for a secure seal, then stomped on the mask on the ground after 4 months of use, it is pretty durable as it turns out but still a 1 star there.
Hard to believe that their product designers signed off on this product, wow do real engineers even work at this place anymore?
