I work at an airport and am constantly on my knees inside the bins under airplanes loading and unloading bags. After 3 knee surgeries these things are a life savor!! They look like gel in the picture but are really hard plastic that has been very durable in the month or so I've owned them. The straps are pretty comfortable, although the top strap doesn't really like to stay tight while using them (nothing a little duct tape can't fix). I have found they fit and feel best when the straps are worn with the "buckle" towards the inside of your knees. The only real complaint I have is the strap loosening up. The inside is padded fairly well and allows for prolonged kneeling with not too much discomfort. Hope this helps!!
