Customer Review

With concerns about microplastics and PFAS in my tap water -- and not being able to afford a $300+ filtration system -- I ordered this.

First, there are similar items on the market (but that don't filter as much) -- made of plastic. The main water compartment here is glass -- love it.

Second, it's stylish and beautiful whether in the frig or on the counter. You could even put this out on the table with pride when you have company.
(I ordered the Stormy Blue model.)

Now for the hiccups...

It doesn't process water all that fast. I had a Zero water pitcher before -- cheaper, faster -- but I don't use it anymore because this Life Straw model filters out more and better. I honestly don't mind the slow processing of my tap water when the quality, certifications, and reviews say this is the best you can buy in a pitcher water container. Having to pay more attention to refilling the tap water reservoir more often is a small inconvenience, considering the benefits.

Also, Life Straw claims it's a 7 cup pitcher. This was a bit concerning for me, because my coffee maker holds 12 cups.

Surprise, surprise. This "7 cup" pitcher filled up my coffee maker "12 cup" reservoir. I was ecstatic... I have no idea why they claim it's only a 7 cup pitcher.

Overall, I'm very pleased and am considering giving this to family for the holidays.
