I make my own waterproof matches using strike-anywhere matches wrapped with a toilet paper square that's been folded three times and dipped in molten wax... and these are better.
They're like the perfect combination of waterproof and windproof. I also bring along a couple gag birthday candles which can't be blown out and light one of the waxed matches or one of those gag candles using these matches and both can stay lit for a long time.
