Terrific product. Have used it twice once with tap water that we were warned to boil and once in silty water. Filtered out all the gunk. Thank you. It is now in my BOB
Update: Great product. Where I live the drinking water sometimes comes out of the taps with brown silt and is heavily chlorinated--we are told by the town administration it is safe to drink--can you believe politicians?? My home tap water has a filtration system worth hundreds of dollars--The Survivor Filter outperforms this house filtration system as I can still taste impurities through the house system which I don't taste with the Survivor Filter; the water is also clearer looking with the Survivor--truly impressive performance. I have since bought a second filter for my buddy and we are both looking forward to the Spring and will drink strait from the river and lake during our camp outs--no fear of Giardia in the rivers around here with a .05 Micron filtration system. Will up date then.
