I just wanted to know my weight

I wanted a basic digital scale for monitoring a 15 lb weight loss goal of falling within recommended height to weight classifications (which I just hit). I didn't need a "smart" scale with apps, wi-fi, voice prompts, BMI calculations, etc. This is inexpensive and just does what I wanted - tells me my weight. It's sleek, lightweight, modern looking and it fits nicely in our modern bathroom. I'm a 6'-1" man and it doesn't tip when I first step on it with one foot. The numbers are easy to read and after a few seconds the display locks-in for about 10 seconds so you can step off. It includes batteries and has a battery strength indicator. After 2 months and almost everyday weighing, plus my 9 year old "checking his weight", the battery is still full. You can select pounds or kilograms using a switch on the bottom of the unit.
Once again, I see some people seem to always have issues with products and claim it's not accurate. You can tell it's usually user-error or maybe a malfunctioning unit when a fraction of poor reviews is contradicted by the vast majority of positive ones. I placed a rubber-coated barbel on it and it was within 1/10 of a pound. I typically weigh two times in succession and each time the value is the same, down to the tenths. It's a body weight scale people - not a deli scale. A tenth of a pound will not impact you greatly. At the time of writing, it was 15 bucks - if all you need is the basics, you can't go wrong with this.

Fun fact that most people won't care about or even need to know...Within two months I dropped 15 lbs by immediately cutting sugar, eating low carbs and dusting off my bike and doing a few miles around the neighborhood each night. I have a desk job so I desperately needed some physical activity.
