This pregnancy pillow is like sleeping on a cloud – super comfy and supportive. It's versatile enough for sleeping or lounging, but it takes up a lot of space in bed. Overall, totally worth it for the comfort it brings to my neck and my lower back. I won't say that I'm healed but it has played a major part in my pain correction.

This pillow was bought for me in 2021 on Amazon and she had sent me this link before my first delivery and then I bought it for myself for my second pregnancy in 2023 and it was not the same. The quality of the pillow case and the pillow itself just felt itchy all the time even after it was washed several times.

Everything everyone wrote about this pillow (both pro and con) is true, making it a solid middle of the road purchase (2.5 stars).

Cons: 1: crappy, cheap fabric and materials, both pillow itself and cover. The cover is clearly marked 60% cotton, 40% poly though the description of the product on Amazon reads 100% cotton. This is blatant false advertising and it matters, because of con #2: a tiny hole developed after one washing of the cover. More to come, I can only imagine. I also discovered con #3: the serious prenatal workout I had to do to get the cover back on the pillow after washing. It was arduous, I'm telling you, and still isn't quite right despite taking it off and then on again multiple times to try to get it back into its original shape. And if you bought the original cover version at Babies r us or another store, like I did, and then returned that one to get one with a jersey cover for softness, you will note that the jersey cover functions as an actual pillow cover, not a pillowcase -- the pillow inside is more or less stuffing, so it's nonnegotiable. Which brings us to con #4: the price -- too high for what it is, though I now wish I'd spent a bit more on the "organic" cotton cover, and/or the original with a separate cover. And finally, another thing people said in the reviews -- scratchy, uncomfortable tags are sewn onto the outside of the pillow cover and are impossible to remove completely without creating (more) holes.

And the 1 pro that is big enough to stack up against all those cons? This cheap, frustrating, annoying pillow makes sleeping at 5 months pregnant VERY comfortable. I can only hope it continues to hold up as my pregnancy progresses.

I’m super picky about my sleeping environment

Meh it’s alright. I’m super picky about my sleeping environment. I always travel with my own pillow and a fan. So sleeping while pregnant has been a challenge. I don’t find the snoogle fluffy enough to use as my head pillow so I end up scooting the upper part of the loop away and using my own pillow. It is an improvement on using a regular pillow between your legs though for sure. The shape allows me to roll over and have support on either side which is huge. I was waking up with sore hips a lot and rolling over required me to fish out my leg pillow and switch it to the other side. Now I can flip over without disturbing my husband. And since the pillow can face either direction I keep the long side on the outer edge of the bed so my husband and I aren’t separated all night by a giant mound of pillow. Overall this was a good buy for me.

The inside started ripping.

I haven't been using this pillow that long. I shouldn't have bought it as early as I did so I could still get a replacement.

Bought in May, started using in August. I'm now 36 weeks pregnant and this pillow has been ripping on the inside within days of using it. I figured there was nothing I could do about it. Now I'm wishing I would have at least tried. I was comfortable for the first couple of nights, but since the ripping began the pillow shifts a lot. I worry about taking it out of the case and not being able to get in back into a good place after washing.

Just really bummed to have paid so much for something that wasn't very well made. Money is tight and I could have used it towards something else.

This is the second maternity pillow I bought. This is my first pregnancy and since I have to sleep on my side (I'm usually a back sleeper) I thought to buy a pillow to force me to be on a side. The pillow itself is fine. It's pretty comfy without being too hard or to soft. My personal problem is that I've spoiled myself the past 6-7 years with a memory foam pillow and so using this instead of the memory foam caused my ear and head to hurt where it was laying on the pillow. I mean, you can't really use any other pillow but this for your entire body including your head.

I would have given it 5 stars if it was more memory foamish but for the product description and what it's meant to accomplish, I would give it 5 stars. It's just not for me...

First off, I love my snoogle! I'm 20 weeks pregnant and the pillow has allowed me to sleep better than I have in the past 4 months... It took some initial break in time to get it to the desired softness, but now it's perfect! I took away three stars because when I removed the cover to wash it, I noticed a huge rip in the corner of one of the curved ends. The rip is substantial and I'm having trouble repairing it because the pillow material is so thin that it keeps re-ripping when I pull for tension... I feel that any body pillow should be able to withstand normal sleeping movements. I wish it was made out of tougher stuff because now I'm hesitant to even take the cover off!

The design is good, but I'm assuming it's pretty standard for a pregnancy pillow. I like that you can use it in a variety of ways. The one drawback is the material for the cover. The description says it's jersey so I assumed it would be super soft like a cotton t-shirt. In actuality it's a polyester blend, and while some poly blends are wonderfully soft, this was kind of itchy. I washed it before I used it per instruction but it didn't really help. It's been washed a few more times since then and I think using it daily has made it a bit softer. All that said I do like it for the design but I have been contemplating buying a new cover that is 100% cotton. I suppose it is my fault for not reading the description thoroughly enough...

Useful but not worth the price

While I think there are a lot of really great features to this pillow, I do have a couple of major issues. The first is that I don't find it supportive or comfortable as a pillow for your head (when you use it as shown in the picture). I think it's great for supporting legs and back, but often gives my neck a cramp. It is also a major pain to turn over in your sleep if you like to hold it a certain way. It requires taking the blankets off and maneuvering out of it or getting up and flipping it over. I ended up switching back to using a standard pillow between my legs and one under my belly. Bottom line- lots of good features but I wish I had just bought a long body pillow instead!

Great shape. Needs more stuffing(?).

The overall shape is great. Versatile and comfy (and I am 6' tall!). I really like that it is a pillow and body pillow in one. It pulls double duty without pushing my husband out as bed.
The primary downside is that there is not enough stuffing (or the stuffing over-compresses). When sleeping on your side, it doesn't really space out your knees and that can lead to a lot of restless flip-flopping and/or a sore back in the morning. I really wish this came in over-stuffed version.
