If you're looking at this review, you're most likely considering buying this bag for a number of different reasons. You may be interested in getting a durable bag for storage of books after having many bags fall apart on you. You may be a prepper, wanting a bug out bag with lots of storage and organization capabilities. You also may be a hiker / backpacker / hunter, who's looking for something comfortable to hold your supplies. You could be in Law Enforcement, wanting a customizable bag to hold all of your "in case of emergency" supplies. No matter the reason you're looking for a pack, this bag is a very good option to consider.
When I was looking for a pack, I needed a bag that could store a variety of different items for different purposes. Primarily, I needed a bag I could easily carry daily to work that would hold work supplies, medical supplies, and food. After having one too many cans of pop explode in my normal backpack, I decided it was time to upgrade and get something better suited for my needs. This is where the Condor 3 Day Assault Pack comes into play.
-For every day "normal" use (see: not packed to capacity), I find this bag to be perfectly sized. It is slightly more bulky than a normal sized backpack (which would hold approximately 1,500 cubic inches, or half of the capacity of this bag). This is due to the fact that the compartments expand as necessary to fit what you're carrying. Not carrying a lot? It'll be bulkier than a normal backpack, but still manageable. All the while, you have room to carry more if need be.
-This pack takes comfort to another level. With multiple pick up "handles" in different locations, it's easy to move the bag short distances no matter your approach angle. In addition, the adjustable "straps" for carrying the bag are padded and thick, making them extremely comfortable when wearing the pack. If carrying heavy loads, the removable belt support helps immensely in alleviating the burden. Finally, the foam pad back panel keeps the bag from focusing all the weight in one spot on your back. This also serves the purpose of keeping the bag from deforming and poking you when carrying oddly shaped items.
-Drainage and drying of the pack is simple due to small grommetted holes in the bottom of the compartments. Ever have a pop suddenly explode or leak? Drainage and cleaning becomes much easier due to this simple feature. This is also extremely valuable if you carry a water bladder, as it may rupture, leaving your gear soaked and uncomfortable. The faster things dry, the better.
-Organization becomes a breeze with this bag, due to the multiple compartments that have internal webbing and slots. This makes holding things like medical supplies a breeze, and allows for quicker access and less mix ups. Being a diabetic and also defense minded, I carry multiple different medical supplies for different situations (ranging from low blood sugar to gun shot wounds). This bag has made getting to whatever I need quick and simple. The MOLLE webbing expands upon this purpose, making it possible to add additional storage capability as needed.
-When it comes to durability, I have to give this bag top notch ratings. Everything on it is made to last. I could see this bag lasting multiple tours of duty for a soldier and still being viable later on.
All in all, it's hard to go over absolutely everything this bag offers. But if you're looking for a durable backpack / bag that can hold a lot of stuff for many different purposes, you're definitely looking in the right spot assuming you can deal with the extra bulkiness.
