Great gloves for medical professionals and home use!

I've been using these MedPride Powder-Free Nitrile Exam Gloves for a while now, and I'm very impressed with them. They are strong and durable, and I've never had a pair rip or tear on me. They're also comfortable to wear for extended periods, which is important for my job as a [your profession].

Comfortable yes, durable not so much

I purchased these mainly to give them a try prior to ordering a large quantity. I primarily use these gloves for working on my cars as well as a source of protection as a first responder. I first used them on a brake job several weeks ago and was split on the overall performance of these gloves. They were very comfortable and had great dexterity, however I must have gone thru at least 5 pairs before I was done with the job. Initially I dismissed that I had used so many on the fact that I was working with caustic fluids such as brake cleaner and brake fluid so it wasn't of great concern at the time. My main issue with these gloves is that they are supposedly made for medical purposes and they didn't hold up very well even in that capacity. I recall one medical run specifically where we were taking vitals on a patient and before we were even done with out run, my right glove was literally tearing apart. That is not a very reassuring feeling when one is dealing with blood and various body fluids and relying on this one piece of protection to shield them from any number of pathogens. Currently I am using a different brand of glove that is not quite as comfortable but at least I have not had an issue with breakage at an incident. I will continue to use these gloves for small cleaning duties or tasks which don't involve dealing with body fluids however I can not recommend these for medical purposes in good faith.

---But from my experience the highest I would rate is 3 stars.
---Amazon ship the glove box in a thicker package or with bubble wrap or package paper.
-So the box won't get a little damaged, worn & partially opened at the ends. It wasn't bad, you just need some alternatives.

Thin and rips easily

They might be ok for doing dishes or wiping the counter, but anything more even remotely task oriented (cutting veggies, planting seeds, cleaning a litter box) causes them to tear and rip. Now I know why they were relatively cheap.. you get what you pay for. I'll use them for what I can, but won't repurchase for sure.

Like wearing nothing at all

These gloves are by far the thinnest nitrile gloves I have ever come across. These should ABSOLUTELY NOT be used by any medical professional as any type of exam gloves. They are so thin they are nearly transparent and wouldn’t protect anyone from a pathogen or medication. Chemo drugs wouldn’t even notice these gloves as the passed through. I bought them for working on small engines but they don’t prevent chemicals or petroleum products from passing through and they tear at the mere thought of touching something firmer than a cloud. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because I can send them back.

Rips at the seams

I needed some nitrile gloves in a pinch and decided to go with these. I’ve worked in labs for numerous years and have extensive experience with a spectrum of nitrile gloves. Unfortunately, these completely miss the mark, and depending on what you’re handling, may even be hazardous as they very easily tear.

Upon opening the box, I promptly went through three gloves before finally reaching one that did not tear. When 75% of the gloves tear, that’s not a good sign. Moreover, when I was able to find a pair that did not initially tear, they ended up tearing shortly after use. Had I been handling a chemical or undesirable fluid, they would not have offered any protection. Fortunately, I was handling paint, but ended up having to scrub my hands after due to the cheap materials and lack of protection which completely defeated the purpose.

If you need heavy duty or reliable nitrile gloves—these are not them.
