These are truly great designs, inexpensive and many filter options. I used it all summer while cutting rock and always had a tight fit and really like the quick latch.

Pre-filter holder is not durable

I have used 3M respirators for a lot of years and they have held up very well. However, this one has the new style of cartridges which are fine but the pre-filter holders are cheap and flimsy, cracking during normal use the first day I used it. Now I have to tape them to the cartridge to keep them on. I would return the respirator but I have had it for approximately 6 weeks so my return window has come and gone.

I would not recommend this product unless you're willing to use tape like I did.

Deceptive advertising

This appears to be a re-baged product, not the product pictured. They opened the plastic bag of a plain mask with no filters and put in N95 filters. It doesn't appear that 3M sells this product anymore. Instead the new one is N100, a better product. That being said, if they are cheap enough compared to the big box store, they will work, just 5% less protection.

I understand the description set, but this item should not be considered NEW. What you get is the bag that should only contain the face piece. In it is the filter and plastic cover piece is added in it. Picture description is deceiving. Whats more, the clear plastic piece is put into a ziplock bag that seems to have been used prior.
