Extremely thick, easy to store, and keeps things warm

This “blanket” (which is really an insulated tarp) is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something to keep food deliveries warm during transport for my oversized items that wouldn’t fit in even my largest catering bag. This is big enough, durable, heavy duty but not too bulky. It folds up (with a little effort) into a compact size and they even supply a nice little bag to hold it. Worth the cost. And in the event of an emergency, I could see it being extremely useful.

Great tarp, Amazon inaccurate 4 pack version shipping

The tarp is clearly high quality and I really like it so no issue with the manufacturer but rather with Amazon which is rare in my experience. Unfortunately there is an issue with Amazon where the four pack ships as a single pack for $49. I initially ordered a four pack, received only one, reordered a four pack thinking it was a warehouse pick mistake so no big deal and…received a single pack again. Returning it obviously and just purchased 2 single packs instead so not the same value as the four pack which is a drag. But who knows, maybe I will get 8 of them this time. Again great product, this is an Anazon issue.

I looked at dozens upon dozens of those cheapo Mylar survival blankets. Too noisy, too flimsy, and not what I needed. This is a large, more robust rainproof tarp despite them calling it a blanket…size, color, reflectivity, and reinforced grommets are good! Build a luxury large waterproof structure with this tarp, place a small fire just outside, and get cosy for a good night’s rest! With a bit of paracord wrapping, I can bring the size down to reasonable for a car carry, and it is large enough to cover 4 people sitting in an SUV, reflecting their body heat. Or in the heat of the day, make a reflective cover to keep the sun off of you! I like it!

Bought this to replace a space blanket I have had in my car for 20 years which was held together with Duct Tape. This is almost twice as big and is substantial. Will use it as an all purpose tarp, rain coat, ground cloth, and privacy screen. Good value for the money!!.

Perhaps my own fault, but I thought these would be like a traditional space blanket not more like a reflective tarp. They are quite heavy duty and so quite heavy and will take up a lot of space in a pack. More of a survival shelter then a blanket.

I bought these to put on the top of the pull out on a pop-up camper. The goal is to reflect the sun so it doesn't get so hot. They work great and really help to keep the camper much cooler. They fold up very small for storage. I'm buying two more to put on the sides for when the sun is blasting.

I ordered this because we needed a ground sheet for an event and didn't want to use a tarp. This was a good solution. The mylar side up was attractive and the heavier tarp side was down. I may order another one to keep in my car as an emergency blanket since this one has some substance to it.
