Read the reviews and decided to buy it despite the fact that the reviews were not good concerning the handle and pin. I agree that the design and quality is not the same as the original design, I will stow it in a secure gear container to avoid jostling around. I really wish manufacturers would just make products (especially life safety products) the same way they did in the past. I would be willing to pay a bit more for a product that is better quality

This fire extinguisher is TINY! I placed it next to a 16oz body armor drink and they are practically the same size. Not sure how big of a fire this could put out, but it better be a small one. Not sure this would put out an engine fire. I wish they would have put better pictures In the listing to truly show how small this is.

Ofcourse its a fire extinguisher.. it stops fires... however, I needed a very specific size and this one in the photo showed 10.1" tall. It is over 12" tall and so now I have to send it back, waste my time going to ups and look for another.

Not a good fit in Sea doo PWC and no date stamp as required in my state

Does not fit right in my 2023 Sea Doo, almost but just a bit large in the nozzle area :-(

More importantly, it does not have a date stamp as my state requires for marine fire extinguishers as they have to be replaced every 12 years. No date = expired in the eyes of the fish cops; another :-(

Gave it 3 stars as I guess I'll leave it in my truck, should have one in there anyway... For PWC use, it's a zero star...

Sprayed my trunk :(

I left the extinguisher in my trunk with the hard case covering the trigger. Through some normal driving the case came off, the safety pin came out, and the trigger was activated. I realize I should have secured it better, but I also expected the hard case and safety pin to be a bit more robust. Thankfully it's relatively easy stuff to clean up.

The extinguisher came with a bracket but no other hardware to mount it. Maybe it should have and I happened to get a dud box? And the pin just falls out so easily. Trying to install it on an existing bracket I had, I couldn’t get the pin to stay in putting it at a risk of discharge the whole time. With it not fitting my existing bracket and no hardware to attach the bracket it came with, I’m stuck at the moment. (It’s for an RV that we had parked remotely and didn’t have a lot of screws at my disposal). These are two little, albeit significant, issues for me. Now, it may do great putting out a fire. But getting it at the ready is a bigger issue. Just be aware.

Literally can’t even rewind this product since Amazon sent me the “car” version of this twice. The one I got are good, small and compact for your car but again, they sent the wrong one once, then sent the same thing again as the “replacement”

I would say this is a “mini” extinguisher. The canister is half the size of the picture. While I am using this as a back up, i didn’t feel the need to return it and I installed it with no issues. The installation took me about 5 minutes total. Hopefully I will never have to write about its use!

Mine arrived with the retaining strap, but not the mounting bracket it's supposed to attach to. Inconvenient and frustrating, as I have to figure out a different way to stow it in my RV, but not the end of the world.

With luck, I'll never have to amend this review to share how well it actually puts out fires.
