Our electronic keypad door deadbolt up and quit working. Thanks to Asurion I was able to submit a claim and get the money back for the purchase of the original deadbolt to put towards a new one. The process of submitting the claim was super easy and the techs that helped me were very thorough and kind.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY! I FILED A CLAIM 2 MONTHS AGO ON A PRODUCT & ALL WENT WELL FILING THE CLAIM AND I WAS TOLD "CHECK"s IN THE MAIL!!". IT'S NOW BEEN 2 MONTHS AND "NO" CHECK. NO MORE ASURION PLANS FOR ME.

Delivery Issue - Anticipate issue if ever used in future

This policy was supposed to be emailed to me, was not in SPAM folder, or inbox or all mail folders. I asked for the senders name of the emailed policy, as doing a search for Asurion found no results, Also requested a resend, instead I was given a link to a generic PDF document to d/l which I did, and renamed with order number. Problems anticipated (as had issues with Walmart): Need Amazon order number to file a claim. Asurion should put the order number in with the policy purchased so when you file a claim all you should have to supply is your name and product with problem. Too EASY for customer, they want you to try to find an order number that might be 2 or more years old (as Walmart did with a receipt), so you are expected to remember the date you purchased an item to look for an order number that may or may not still be on Amazons website as there is a limit to archived orders you can keep. With todays computing power and cheap memory I would think Asurion would have a system that could pull up all policies by purchasers name and product. Could it be designed this way so that customers have to jump through unnecessary hoops so that if they can't find the order number, can't file a claim? I did get a 'corporate speak' reply from a Julia that ignored all other requests, concerns and questions and as far as they are concerned the matter is closed because when I went back to the message it states I already responded and won't allow for further correspondence.

Great if you only purchase one product

This is great if you only need to file 1 claim. I purchased 15 sets of crappy lights and had 6 claims. Complete hassle because you have to file one at a time even if you call. I only ever received my money back for 4 even though they claimed all 6 were approved.

Asurion built a system that blocks claims

The system won't allow me (or the rep) to label the product properly when filing a claim—even though the product is properly registered between Amazon to Asurion. The system needs technical updates and testing. I wonder if they are making it harder to use to get customers to give up on the claim process. Even with the rep's help, the system mislabeled and canceled the claim . I've had to contact Asurion three times to finally get this resolved.

Not a Carefree protection plan

A person purchases a 4-year protection plan expects to have replaced or repaired or refunded completely in full. This protection plan does not do that this is why it's not Carefree they do not refund taxes so you get a refund of what the products purchased without taxes and have to repurchase the product paying taxes a second time. This is not why people get a protection plan. People want a protection plan for peace of mind and not to have to spend more money four faulty product. I will not be using protection plans if it's through this company. My peace of mind will come when my plan is over. I do not recommend this protection plan through this company..

I bought this for a outdoor solar light and after less then a year of use I sent this people a claim of the fault flickering product i cant say the name because they will not post this. I tried providing everything they asked of the product even though it doesn't not come with a serial number. They did not want to warranty it out. So now I stuck with a flickering product that does not work well. Do not get this warranty or any warranty at all because they will make it difficult for us to get a new product.

Missing the Hitch Entirely!!

I purchased a 60” ‘L’ Shaped Desk w/ Hutch & it was delivered yesterday I was so excited I stay up until 2am putting it together when I got home from work. I was 85% the way thru the Instruction Manual before I realized I was missing the Hutch parts & pieces entirely and no one from Amazon including the Delivery Driver said anything!!! I had to reach out to Amazon & Seller to inform them the shipment was missing stuff to figure out I did NOT receive (2) Boxes but system shows my delivery as complete. So even after figuring that out I am still in DARK about when those (2) Boxes are shipping & how the delivery will get scheduled?!?!
