This is a perfectly nice, simple, and cheap (i.e., good value) little watering can. Works well - holds plenty of water, and doesn't spill. Perfect size (I use it for large plants as well as small ones). I can tell I'll be using this for a lot of years and a lot of plants.

Cheap material

Purchased to replace a watering can I've had for many years. The design is exactly the same, but the quality of the material is lacking. Even though my old watering can has tape holding the cracked spout on, I'm hesitant to toss it because I still think it will out last this new one.

There's a hole in this bucket, dear Liza! It came to me with a puncture about a third the way up in the middle of the can, just big enough for a steady drip. If you like as much water on the floor as you do your plants, maybe this can is for you. But you should also know- the seams are rougher than a serrated plastic knife that's been run over a few times in the picnic parking lot. Within 3 minutes of opening the box, filling it with water, I was dumping it out and placing it in the trash bin. It is quite literally.... garbage.

I was looking for a watering container that would hold a large amount of water so when I found this "56 ounce" container I was thrilled. However, upon opening the obviously too small box for said item, it was in fact a 6 ounce plastic container. On the bottom it states "New - Bloem Watering Can YLW5 6oz" so whoever wrote the item description must have misread it as 56 ounces. It's something I'd expect to find easily at a dollar store.

If you expected to use outside to mix fertilizer, don’t bother. The plastic is so thin, it is see-through. The capacity is no more than 2 cups! The price-point no where matches this piece of plastic junk. If is weren’t so expensive, it would be suitable for a child to use for play in a sandbox. That is actually where this is going, as I have no use for this toy, advertised as a garden watering can.

Cheap defective plastic mold

This watering can was so cheaply made that I can't use it as a gift. The plastic mold around the rim is thin and defective. (You can see it on the photo) There is a paper label on the bottom that says made in the U.S.A. This is a shame! Better watering cans are made in China! Very disappointed. Don't waste your money on this one.

I knew it was plastic and compact. I didn't know it was cheap. No way is this worth $10. Salvage ends of plastic extrusion all over it, dented in when it arrived. Ridiculously poorly made for the price.
