I bought this because I live in hurricane territory. It’s just in case we lose all our utilities. We always get rain so in an emergency I thought it would be handy to have these drinking straws. They don’t take too much room so they’re easy to store, I’m reading this because of the price and the convenience of having them on hand not taking up too much room.

I did not test if this actually purifies water and highly skeptical of its claim, but can say it adds a lot of plastic to it on the one time I used it on drinking water to see how it worked.

The place for your lips is oval so does not adapt to a straw very well, forcing me to use it directly into my mouth so I can't see the results.
