5.0 out of 5 starsTHE BEST Torque Wrench I Have Ever Used

Toque settings are easy to see and easier to set. EVEN torque values on the LEFT, ODD torque values on the RIGHT. .1 N.m increments click into place when turning the torque adjustment knob. Turn the knob one full rotaton on you're at the next 1 N.m. So if you're on 2 N.m, turn the knob to the right one click and you're at 2.1 N.m. Turn the knob one full rotation and you're at 3 N.m, etc. You pull the knob down slightly to turn it. It snaps into place at the detents. Super easy to dial in exactly the torque value you want with no guessing.
When you're at the right torque value the HEAD BREAKS AWAY from parallel while it "clicks," so you DEFINITELY know when you're at the right torque value. Better than that simple hard-to-detect "click" like many wrenches. So even though it's called a "click type" wrench, I think those with heads that break away like this one does should have their own category. So when you're at the right value, you can feel, hear, and SEE it.
The tool is nicely crafted, well machined, well though-out, and well engineered. It looks and feels expensive.
The case is nicely compact and holds both tool and bits securely and has a super "beefy" clasp to hold the case itself shut. The kit includes hex-head (Allen) bits, which I already had, but is nice to have so handy, Torx bits, and an extension adapter. The kit comes with a certification of accuracy printed on glossy paper. My certificate is labelled with serial #90355, so hopefully yours is labelled differently.
It wasn't readily apparent in the text describing the tool, but the accuracy is guaranteed better than +/- 4%. Mine was substantially better. So the tool's salient characteristics are:
1/4" Drive Bi-directional Torque Wrench, Metric Torque Values, 2-20 N.m, tested +/-4%, comes with certification of accuracy and the results from the certification testing.
I have, and have had, a number of torque wrenches, various click-types and beam types, with varying ranges over the years. This is the best torque wrench of all of them, by far. The more I use it, the more I love it. It is just a pleasure to use such a finely crafted tool.
