Way better than expected

I read the reviews, obviously some good, some bad, and took a chance. My husband is a heavy machine operator and was looking for something just like this that wasn't ridiculously priced. Don't be discouraged by the fact that it's not rechargeable and uses two double A (AA) batteries though. He has been using the headset for exactly a month (5 to 6 days a week) and the headset tells you the battery status. The headset let's you know if the battery is high, medium and I'm guessing low (not there yet). So after all that use in a month the battery's medium now, which for the usage its getting I think is impressive. We did just put regular batteries, but we also did buy the ones that are rechargeable in case. The ear protection from noise is just enough and the sound quality is decent. The boom mic is great too. When he's in his dumptruck or backhoe I can hear him clearly and he can hear me or his other calls clearly as well. All in all very pleased with the results!

3M Way Of Communication Is Terrible

The communication connection is trash. We run a firewood business and wanted to have headphones to be able to communicate with the firewood processor operator and the ground/loader person. I have had great experiences in the past with 3M Headphones before with the black and yellow work tunes and was hoping the same for these headphones. These headphones are super comfortable, with a lot of room for your ears, even if you have earrings. Our main Firewood Processor Operator is a female with 3 or 4 earrings on each ear and they fit great on her with plenty of room. Based on the other comments/reviews, I am not the only one that hates the communication feature that resulted in me returning the headphones. The transmission system is not good, I would deem it horrible. The headphones use a third-party app to communicate instead of having a built-in radio system. We do firewood and are out where there is no cell service which means that your phone will do a terrible job of communicating the signal. For $110+ I would expect these headphones to come with VOX (Voice Activated Radio) and Integrated Radio. Wish it did because I would have kept them and bought 4 more. I ended up returning them and getting the Walker's Razor Walkie Talkie Headphones that come with a integrated radio system and VOX (Voice Activated Radio).

I've tried 3 different types and brands. I farm with old tractors with poor or no cabs. I can be cutting with the tractor at full rpm and hear people perfectly. Others can hear me when I talk. Being able to hear some noise is handy for catching a breakdown before it develops and I can still hear music clearly. I love that it takes AA batteries. The batteries last well over 40 hours, so I don't need to remember to charge them every night. Also, I needed to replace my other headsets when they quit charging. Boom mic is way to poorly made and needs to constantly be tightened.

I have had this for a couple of months and have used them while working in the yard. When cutting the yard with a 23 hp riding mower the noise cancelling works great! I am able to make phone calls while mowing and the person on the other end has no problem at all understanding me. I also use them to listen to podcasts and it is easy to interrupt the podcast and take a call. The bluetooth was easy to set up and does not loose contact like my earbuds sometimes do. I'm very happy with this product.

I love these. Perform just as well for noise blocking as boring old over-ear earpro, in addition to offering sound via bluetooth or 3.5mm wired connection. For battery life, I usually choose the latter but bluetooth pairing is easy. Perfect for my adhd while I'm mowing the lawn or doing other yardwork, or cleaning the garage etc.

Amazing. I mow lawns for a living and these are worth every penny. I have owned the 3m Worktunes for years first the original then the gel ones for the last 3 seasons. After using the 3M Pro Comms for a week i will never own any other pair. They are so much better quality then worktunes. The wires are huge compared to the worktunes which break where they join the can. They muffle the sound much better and the spacial awareness feature allows me to keep them on when working and still hear around me.
So the big question is can you talk on the phone while mowing?? YES!!! While mowing on my 61” Ferris Z3X i can talk and they hear me perfectly.

They use AA batteries which is good so you can swap them out when they go dead. I bought AA lithium batteries on Amazon and you just plug a Usb C cable into the end of the batteries to charge. Awesome stuff.

Love these cans! Oh and they are RED :)

Working in a loud environment of a computer room, it is very hard to hear around you with all the fans running. One of the guys at work spotted this 3M headset on a good deal, and many of us got a set. It blocks all the fan noise and this is one of the first headsets we have used where you can be heard and hear when talking on a phone call with it. A darn good value for the money, helps protect your hearing, and allows you to make and hear phone calls though your cellphone while in the noisy room.
