It is a very good power strip. Seems to work well and I have several power tools plugged into it.

Great design, but can't safely plug anything into it

These are a safety hazard. When you plug in pretty much anything into it, it won't go in all the way and requires so much force that it would break the plug and/or outlet. While they do give power, it requires that the plug stick out, which can cause sparking (and thus a fire) and makes for electrocution hazard due to the plug sticking out. I tried several different things. The test subjects plug into normal wall outlets and other power strips just fine, but on this power strip, only the part that connects to a wall outlet properly works, not any of the outlets on the power strip itself. I tried my computer, speakers, equalizer, DSLR battery charger, USB wall charger, lamps (both old and new alike), alarm clock, fan, and other lower-power devices with various plugs. Nothing worked on both of these that I ordered. What's more is that the plug on one of them had the ground pin bent so I couldn't get it into an outlet until I unbent it enough.

As this was near the wall outlet anyway, cord length was an irrelevant factor so I can't judge it. I had to return both of these that I got as both of them had exactly the same problem, one slightly worse than the other. Amazon does wonderful with handling returns.

Excellent with (1) Big flaw....

This is an excellent quality surge protector and i love the extra bells & whistles like individual, illuminated power switches, and the sliding dust covers for unused outlets. These are great to have and really makes this product stand out. The cord has a nice length also.

The problem is, squared power-brick types, can't be plugged in because they bump into the power switches!! They NEED to revise the design of this Surge Protector to where the individual power switches are spaced further away from the outlets. Luckily, i already owned some of those short outlet extenders, so I'm still able to make use of this surge protector with my power bricks.

This is otherwise an excellent product but, this flaw takes (2) stars off the score.

I loved being able to send power to each individual kitchen appliance, and turn off when not in use. One of the outlets is no longer working, and bulging out of the case, so I only use the other outlets when present the whole time. I'm not sure if I'll buy the same one again.

It has a good design, but it lacks the final 25% of heft to make it a good product.

When you plug something in, the fit is tight. You'd think that would give a secure feeling, but it feels cheap somehow. And when pulling the plug out the face of that outlet can come out a bit. I just had that happen, so I'm mistrustful of that outlet now.

The only way to mount it is via an inadequate keyhole slot, making for a less-than-solid, rather loose, wall mount.

My overall impression is that it's okay, but I want something better.
