I have appreciated other Anker products and trusted this was a good product, but it was not! This is a TERRIBLE product! Like others, mine broke the first time it was used. Unfortunately, I purchased it to take on a trip abroad so I was out of the country when it was first used (and broke!) and by the time I returned, the return window was passed by 5 days. I’m disturbed, disappointed, and frankly very put out. Fortunately, I was traveling with a friend and was able to borrow a portable charger when out and about and I did take a car charger which I was able to utilize when driving. But I’ve wasted money that could have been on something much more worthwhile. So, if you are thinking to try this, just get a lighter and burn your money instead and at least save yourself from aggravation/frustration/inconvenience, etc. I’m DONE with Anker!

2 defective batteries in a few months do not buy

I rarely leave a negative review because I believe in giving a company a chance to provide a better experience but they really earned this one.

2 defective batteries in only a few months time. They want me to jump through hoops before they can replace my $20.00 item that was defective twice. Really ?

I’m out of town with no printer access. They told me first they will ship a label to me and it will take 5-7 days and when they receive the product back only then will they send me a. New battery. . This is the 2bd time this has happened.

I suggested they send me a new battery and include the return label to provide a better experience since this is the 2nd time this happened .“Sir that’s not our policy” was the response.

I’ve purchased 5 of their other products but this is the last thing I ever purchase from Anker.

Quality control is lacking... (as are customer support policies)

I have bought multiple Anker products and two of these batteries. I find that Anker products are 90% there but quality control is lacking, and I have already had several experiences that prove this. One of the batteries works perfectly (at least for now). The other was dead on arrival. The product is well designed but production and quality control seem to have problems (I see this in other reviews for this same product). I bought it while travelling in the US and Anker customer service won't replace the faulty product it because I am out of the country. This, for a global company that operates and sells this product in my own country is nonsensical. I like Anker products but will probably think twice before buying in the future.

Does not work with Lifeproof protective case on iphone 12

I gave the Anker unit a rating of "1" in hopes that people who have protective cases on their Iphones will know before purchase that the Anker Nano connector is not long enough to accomodate the extra width of a protective case. So, in order to charge the phone with the Nano the phone must be removed from the case. That's a big HASSLE, trying to get the waterproof case apart and back together again while dealing with the o-ring etc. If I'm out backpacking where I need a recharge, that's a non-starter! I sent the units back for refund.

Died after 3 months. Customer Service is a joke!

Stopped working after three months. Used it four times total! All four white lights still illuminate to indicate a full charge. But, this Anker Nano portable charger suddenly stopped charging my iPhone via the built-in lightning port, nor will it charge any device via the built-in single USB-C port. Contacting customer service via email was a joke! I sent them seven different emails this past week, along with all of the information that they require for a warranty claim. Each time, they responded back to my messages, requesting the same information that I had already sent them, (picture of receipt, serial number, a short video describing the problem, mailing address, etc.). After a week of what felt like Groundhog’s Day of sending them the same information over and over again, and enduring this frustrating process, I finally received another email from Anker customer service, stating that I have to snail mail the malfunctioning charger back to them, and then wait for their technicians to “troubleshoot” the issue. Only then, will they consider sending me a replacement! Super frustrating!! This item is not worth the time I’ve spent dealing with the Anker customer service department! I own several Anker products. But, this Anker Nano portable charger does not stand up to the quality that one expects when purchasing their products. Stay away from this one!

Stopped working after 3 months

I’ve been a loyal Anker customer since 2015 and really consider this brand worth your money. Since 2015, I have accumulated about 4-5 additional Anker devices and have been genuinely impressed with them. HOWEVER, I can’t say the same about this product.

I bought it back in July, but it stopped working as of two weeks ago. The portable charger displays that it is fully charged, but the device itself no longer charges my phone. I even tried charging my phone by connecting it to the portable charger using a charging cord, but the charger is still does not charge my cell. Its poor longevity is quite disappointing, especially considering that the first Anker portable charger I bought in 2015 is still going strong. I lightly used this product, so I can’t pinpoint the reason for why it stopped working other than the quality of the product. My disappointment is definitely heightened by the fact that I also waited longer time than usual to receive this product. I thought the wait would be well worth it, but that has not turned out to be the case. I loved the convenience of this charger before it stopped working, and this experience has made me really reconsider how I regard Anker products.

TLDR: Device stopped working after 3 months of light use.

Extremely fragile, broke the first time I dropped it

I had this for 3 months. I like the form factor and it seems to charge my iphone 1.5 times which is really convenient because it fits in a fanny pack easily.

The problem is, the first and only time I accidentally dropped it, it broke at the connection. Too bad, I really liked it. I will either send it in for warranty replacement or get a refund. If you never drop it, it's great. But if you drop it once, it might break like it did for me.

I purchased the first one in Oct 2023 and that worked for six months. I contacted Anker support and they sent a warranty replacement. Now it is five months later and that unit will no longer charge an iPhone. There appears to be some serious quality control issues with this charger. While the size is great and it is a fine charger while it works - I need it to last longer than six months.

Also - I don't appreciate that the warranty replacement they sent me is used. I assume it has been refurbished, but since I bought a new item the warranty replacement should also be NEW!

Worked for a few weeks then dead

This was perfect for my son and was working for a few weeks then just stopped. It takes a charge and indicates it is ready to go but won't charge any of the iPhones we tried. I think the problem is the swivel power plug. I would not buy this as it appears it has a bad design and no support to replace it when it does fail.
