Police Find Nursing Home Escapees At A Heavy Metal Festival

Trending News: Two Guys Escaped Their Nursing Home To Go To A Metal Fest

Long Story Short

Age is just a number.

Long Story

It's festival season for everyone, apparently.

Police reportedly found two adventurous German men at Wacken Open Air, the world's largest heavy metal website.

New York Post report the adventurers were found at 3 a.m. in a “disoriented and dazed” state, though, they were reluctant to leave, according to a police spokesperson.

“They obviously liked the metal festival,” said Merle Neufeld, the police spokesperson according to German media. “The care home quickly organized a return transport after police picked them up.”

Damn, I'm inspired.

In my experience, older people outside of America and Canada, tend to be more keen to go to parties past 50 – why is that? It's a damn shame if you ask me. I so want to be these guys when I'm older (except perhaps to a hip-hop festival or Burning Man instead of heavy metal).

This particular festival hosted 75,000 people and had headliners Danzig, Judas Priest, Hatebreed, In Flames and more.

If you have a music festival coming up on the calendar here are 10 things you need (regardless of your age).
