The Story of Thor is one of the most gorgeous Mega Drive games. The soundtrack sometimes hits these ethereal soft moments that are so sweet. Battle mechanics are rich and complex in a comprehensive way. Maybe a bit too unforgiving, but otherwise a true classic all around.

A well done action adventure game that really focused on the combat and was a lot of fun to play as a result. The visuals had a distinct and detailed cartoony look to them which paired well with Ali's combat animations. Beyond the combat, elemental magic could be used to solve some basic puzzles as you worked your way through the relatively short and disposable narrative.

I don't remember this one too well but it was an introduction to JRPG's during my youth.

All I can recall is enjoying this game and it being longer than I thought it would be. I'm sure if I went back to it now, it would not seem as long.

A pretty solid action RPG, some frustrations aside (it really has no business having any platforming sections, considering how its movement feels more like a brawler than your typical top-down ARPG at times). Gorgeous visuals, but I thought the music was quite lacking.

One of the best looking Mega Drive/Genesis game avaiable on the console. A joy to both play and watch.

My favorite part was when the face on the cover said, "It's time to go beyond the oasis" and beyonded the oasis out of my life bar with his lasers.

In all seriousness, this is a super neat game; the puzzles are super clever; the summon system has a lot of depth to it; you can perform super crazy combos, and being able to jump makes all the difference (I'm looking at you, A Link to the Past). Also, the music by Yuzo Koshiro was really unique; I've heard nothing like it.

That last boss battle is pure nightmare fuel, too.
