A horribly underrated game that was hated on by everyone without given a proper chance. I wish I could recreate this game's mechanics as a modern game on steam. This is why I like fighting games as much as I do.

Basically Playstations version of Super Smash Brothers. Meaning that it has worse gameplay and visuals. The only thing that i enjoyed about this game was playing as characters that i thought i would never play inside a fighting game.

Not very good smash clone, but was worthwhile, and one more platinum for the collection

You can't beat Smash Bros, but this was good in it's own right. Not nearly as many unique and exclusive characters in Sony's repetoire but fairly good roster nonetheless.

Despite playing this game a bunch...it really does not operate well lol.

The game just feels super clunky and not fluid and man, this cast had so much potential. Why is Smash Bros outdoing them with Playstation characters. The cast is still good but like, missing potential. The rivals interaction at the end of the "Classic Mode" is actually really awesome though, I'll give it that.

The discourse around this game is toxic AF. It is Sony Smash Bros and I wish they ran with concept a little harder like Brawhalla or Nick Brawl. The items were clever and unique, the stages beautiful, and the gameplay was mostly good. I liked the voices character interactions cross-franchise. Getting the vita version free was a good business practice. On to things I didn't like. I liked the end boss being a reference but I wish it was more interesting, finishing arcade with every character made the platinum boring because the stakes were never raised. Let me fight the Dinosaur! The K.O system is goofy and they should've just copied Smash. The roster was lacking, the end cutscene cutouts were lazy and I wish the music was better. I think Astro bot on PS5 did successfully what this game tried to do. I still platinumed this game twice even though I have my frustrations with it. Check it out!
