this game is truly something else, i played the original rebirth back when it came out in 2014, and I was enthralled by all the content that they fit into this one game, the randomly generated dungeons, the tough but rewarding gameplay, the polish, when afterbirth came out I also bought it, and was shocked to see they added even more content, unfortunately I had stopped playing isaac by the point that afterbirth+ released, but this year i finally got around to buying repentance and the dlc that i didn’t have. and let me tell you, this is THE way to experience the binding of isaac. there’s thousands of hours worth of content, the lore is sad, the game is very rewarding with its gameplay loop, and even though it is frustrating at times, when you do get a good run and break the game, there’s no feeling such as that. im currently still playing and haven’t unlocked dead god yet but im around 30 achievements away, will definitely be revisiting this when i do get it but for now, this game is a 10/10 just for the sheer amount of replay value it offers
