Despite usually enjoying larger maps this noticably suffers from magnum opus syndrome (even for Nebula's standards). Still pretty enjoyable, plus I always get a kick out of seeing new wads from mappers that have been around as long as Nebula has.
Pretty easy recommendation, although It's gonna hinge upon your tolerance for overtly long maps and Supercharge gameplay.

Not bad, although my initial feelings are quite similar to how I felt about Sigil 5 years ago; Being noteworthy for it’s creators & circumstances surrounding itself rather than actual quality. Somewhat inevitable this would occur though, being the first official expansion in 14 years gives this the same mass market appeal as Sigil got. But on top of that, these are the first Kaiser maps in 10 years, first Gooberman maps in 9 years, as well as having a substantial amount of work done by Xaser & MTrop. I’m aware most people don't give a shit about any of that, but on paper this is 10x more promising than Sigil was.
Does it live up to the “hype” though? Uhhhhhh, not really, but still kinda? I’ve definitely got more positive things to say than I ever did for Sigil, though just as many complaints.

Maps:
Visually this is great across the board. From the clear Doom Bible references in E1M1, E2M2’s Blood Dam, or the gorgeous texture work throughout (this is easily the best part of the entire wad). Map layouts and encounter design is not as consistent though. While E1M3 is fantastic, not too many other maps stand out in a good way when it comes to gameplay. Some of the worst being E2M2 - exceptionally dull for being this far in, and E1M6 - some incredibly grand & intricate architecture (Xaser map, no real surprise here) but encounter design sucks. E2M7 starts out strong and then just devolves into a slaughter map, E2 as a whole has some slaughter-esque tendencies but E2M7 literally becomes slaughterslop in the least interesting way possible.
My biggest issue is that so much of this wad feels disjointed. Like, what is E1M3 doing in this set lol. It’s design is distinctly “modern” and feels completely disconnected from subsequent maps, as well as the two preceding it. Similarly, what the hell is E2M6 doing in this wad? Just from a purely visual standpoint it looks completely out of place, and once again it’s layout is extremely modern compared to other maps. The lack of a cohesive direction really makes this feel more akin to a community project (pejorative) than anything else.

“New” enemies are a mixed bag:
Beta Lost Souls - Somewhat obnoxious, but they're probably my favorite of the bunch
Blobs - Nothingburger. I've played through this wad twice and I genuinely don't know what they're meant to do beyond fly towards you at a snail’s pace
Fire Barons - Effectively another nothingburger. Cool sprite but they're not threatening in the slightest. Super easy to dodge their projectiles, and always ends up infighting anyway.
Shocktrooper - Died 2005. Born again 2024. Welcome back Scythe 2 Marines
Tiny Masterminds - Why would you make chaingunners but 7x tankier
“New” Cyberdemon - Dehacked cyberdemon to have low health. Nothing to really say, it works but I’ve seen it plenty of times before.

Not a huge fan of the new weapons either. The BFG replacement is arguably the most powerful “official” idtech weapon ever if you account for the low ammo cost, but the lack of tracers or autoaim makes it far less versatile than the BFG (this is an observation, not a complaint). The flamethrower on the other hand SUCKS, genuinely zero situation where I’d prefer this over the plasma rifle and you'll be ditching it the moment you get access to the BFG.

I do think this is enjoyable, and I'd give it a soft recommendation. But quite frankly this is way below the level of quality I’d expect from these particular mappers. Even if I had zero expectations based off the creators, there's simply far too many good-to-great PWADs coming out nowadays to justify the attention this gets, and will likely continue to get over the years simply due to an official endorsement.

TLDR: Its ok, but theres 50 billion better wads out there that are more deserving of your time

Quite possibly the most soulless remake I've ever seen. Seriously, was this made using Daz3D models?. Not one iota of charm, or anything resembling the original's artstyle is preserved to the point where the game is actively made worse. Every wall is now the exact same height, resulting in your view being constantly obstructed in virtually every room. Even if presentation wasnt godawful, it's completely broken. I found three different softlocks in under 20 minutes.

This launched while lacking even the most basic of options btw; couldnt change resolution, no support for multiple monitors -still isnt x)-, and zero graphic settings at all.
Good news, they patched in graphics settings and custom resolution support. Even better - changing them crashes you to desktop.
Genuinely horrible.
