The vibe of this game is immaculate, it is so chill but analytical. Where time feels so fast in the beginning then become slow and comfy during the middle before ramping back up at the end. I felt so engaged on managing my time and how my playstyle affected that. Rarely do I experience that in games with this mechanic. It was weird but the way everything just 'worked' made me feel a sense of childish joy. I'm definitely on the Atelier train and I can't wait to see where it takes me.

This game is actually phenomenal. Combining roguelike/lite elements with Pokemon is so genius. I haven't played anything Pokemon related in like years but this was so addicting that it made me realize that I technically don't hate Pokemon just how painfully easy it was. In the past 8 or 9 days, I've only been playing this game and it was very tough for me since I forgot everything about weaknesses, resistances and all that but damn was it fun learning it all over again. I haven't even touched endless mode, I might be here for several more days. And the music is fantastic, I wish they put the names of the OST on the wiki. But yeah this was an incredible roguelike/lite, something I definitely don't say often.

It's really hard to make a review for this game. Like it has the best gameplay so far (haven't played Arkham Knight yet) and the worst story out of the first three. The visual and color grading of the cutscenes were great but some of the actions and reasons felt so bare. Like if this was the first or only Arkham game it would be fantastic but having played 2 amazing games before this kinda makes this feel meh which disappoints me. I enjoyed the overworld more here than in City, it felt bigger, more fresher. And I think I enjoy collecting Enigma's stuff a bit more than Riddler trophies because there's a story behind it rather than a bunch of text files. But aside from that I really don't have anything else to say. It makes me kinda worried since I really like this series, hopefully it just the third game curse and Arkham Knight will lock in and be phenomenal.

The Deathstroke fight was the best fight this series will ever have....probably.
