This was a fresh take on the Ryu Ga Gotoku formula established in the Yakuza series.
It's nice to be back in a modern take on Kamurocho, with familiar streets and places to visit. The combat system, while being similar, has a lot of interesting changes, such as combat extracts, new animations, and excellent controls.
The graphics are great, and the music is not bad, but what really drew me in was the mystery-focused story.
All in all, I think this is one of the best things RGG Studio has ever put out, and if you're interested in a tangential story set in the classic neighborhood from the Yakuza series, then definitely check it out.

This is perhaps one of the best CRPGs I've ever played, but it's hard to talk about without spoiling everything and sounding very cliche.
If you like games like Planescape: Torment or Torment: Tides of Numenera, and you somehow haven't played Disco Elysium, then do yourself a favor and go get in there.
