Notts County have signed Kellan Gordon on a two-year deal after the wing-back turned down the offer to stay with League One-bound Crawley Town.

The 26-year-old moves to Meadow Lane as a free agent, with Gordon's contract at Crawley expiring after negotiations failed to result in an extension.

Gordon - who joined the Red Devils from Mansfield Town in January 2023 - made 53 appearances for Crawley, with his last being their League Two play-off final win against Crewe at Wembley that sealed promotion in May.

He is the second Crawley wing-back to have featured in that final to move to Notts since, with Nick Tsaroulla signing in June.

"He’s a great fit for us and, with his prime years ahead of him, has an opportunity to grow with the club," said , externalRichard Montague, a Notts board member that leads on the club's recruitment.

"Kellan is quick, strong and powerful, while also being very composed on the ball."
