Modern hotel and great value for money. Very happy with our room and the staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is a short walk from the metro which we used to get around the city and was really straight forward. There isn’t much in walking distance from the hotel but we had an amazing meal at MaMi which is close by and I would highly recommend.

I loved Rome and Italy - just walking around is a walk through history. The main tourism sites are VERY crowded - you and 40,000 of your closest friends visit the Vatican each day! When you're there on a hot day, it can be a bit much. I did absolutely love - and can't recommend enough - the dark side of Rome tour. I will say that we did run into quite a few Italian shop owners and restaurant workers that did NOT seem happy to have us there. Lots of grumbling, throwing down menus, slower service for us than other tables with Italians, etc. I don't know if it's part of the "tourist go home" movement that is going on - but I was glad I also went to Greece where everyone was lovely!

Hi, An amazing city full of incredible history, architecture and life. Only issue for us was over crowding at some sites and transportation as we were unlucky to be there whilst there was a Metro, bus & Train strike!!! This would not stop us going again. Taxis were cashing in on prices!!!!

Rome has sooooo much to see and so many streets.

Rome has sooooo much to see and so many streets. Be prepared for lots of walking and take water (can fill up from lots of free fountains). Plan what you want to see on a tour - tour guides at Colosseum, Vatican are brilliant and Vespa Side-Car - a must do; and especially plan what you want to see by walking and use google maps. Accommodation is central Rome makes a big difference and make use of Metro by learning about ticketing before getting to Rome. Few veggies in restaurants but can by in markets. Fast paced, lots of exercise and keep to your right :) It is an incredible city

This is an absolutely fantastic boutique hotel in Monti. It is located very conveniently in Rome and the rooms are gorgeous and a decent size for Italy. Above all however, the staff are absolutely amazing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. It felt like they were welcoming us into their home, rather than a hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

The service was excellent; actually Next level. Not just the hotel welcome & what it had to offer, but assistance with our next venture in Italy. It really helps sell Rome (even when 38 degrees🥵)when you have staff like this at Viminale. If we ever go back to Rome, it’ll be staying here purely for the service we received.
