Staying at Serenity was an unforgettable experience. Nestled at the edge of the Sinharaja Rainforest, this villa offers stunning views of both the rainforest and surrounding rice fields. The balcony was my favorite spot, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty. The villa was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities and a touch of local charm. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making sure our stay was perfect. Serenity is truly a peaceful escape in a breathtaking setting.

Location was spot on, right close to the entrance of Sinharaja Forest. Staff was helpful, and even if their English was far from being perfect, they helped us to arrange a tuktuk.

Wow such a wonderful place and the staff was sooo lovely and kind! That you for making me such a great time! I would definitely come back! For that price you get so much! The food there was also so delicious!

Nice location next to the waterfall, separate houses with balcony at waterfall. Nice food and friendly and helpful host and personnel. Off road and therefore final kilometer by jeep - an adventure 😊

I will give a few segmented reviews for this. Otherwise, I don't think I can do a justice for this amazing place!!! 1. Customer service - Exceptional. The host is really friendly and responsive. Made us feel like home. Helped us find a naturalist plus offered us a free ride. Specially adjusted rate for locals. 5000/5 🌟 2. Place - located with the best view facing sinharaja across a paddy field. It's a 10-minute distance to Pitadeniya sinharaja entrance. ( from tuk tuk 300 LKR approx ). Room is a very cosy, clean, bathroom massive and comes with hot water. I have nothing to complain about. It's really worth the money. What I have noticed is that it is a really good condition compared to other places in the sinharaja area. 5000/5 🌟 3. Food - The host's wife can cook really well, food was so good we ordered all the meals there. Price is really cost-effective. There is a nice out door dinning area which you can have a nice meal with your loved ones with a magnificent view. We got breakfast with the rate as part of the deal. It was really good. Milk tea was offered to us FOC all the time we were there. 10000/5 🌟 4. Dog Shaggy - As a dog lover, there is nice well mannered dog to accompany you throughout the stay. My heart breaks to leave him. I will definitely miss our evening sun set watching. 10000/5 🌟 5. Naturalist - He is the host's brother. I would definitely recommend him in a heartbeat. He has really passionate energy toward what he does. From how sinharaja name started, all the folklore stories, all biological information, a great photographer. He got everything you need to accompany you in the hike. We were able to see lots of animals and a great time! I am highly recommending him. 5000/5 🌟 Overall, this is one of the best experiences I have had. I am 1000 % recommending this place. I will definitely come back! Thank you for everything ❤️

Gorgeous cabin, built by the owner over 5 years, immersed in tea fields and rainforest. Scenic walk, including through a couple of shallow rivers, to get to the cabin. Beautiful swimming hole out the front. Comfortable bed and fan provided. Friendly host with good food cooked by his mother, brought to the cabin and eaten undercover outdoors. Peaceful as it is a long way from the nearest road. Village life goes on around you - tea pickers at work, people bathing and the village youth playing drums and singing by the waterhole. Fireflies and starry skies at night.

This place is amazing! We totally fell in love wit this place. We booked the big family room upstairs and it is really big with a very nice balcony with amazing views on the river and jungle. The outside lounge bed/swing was favorite by our kids. Breakfast and diner was also great. The owners organised also a tour to Sinharaja rainforest for us with a very good guide. Cooling down in the river in front of the hotel with al the little waterfalls made it perfect. Very good value for your money!
