David was a great host and very communicative about what bedding and sleeping arrangements. He also was super kind offering a wrap for my injured leg and driving us into town when it was raining in the morning. We were only a family of 4 but could accommodate a larger group.

We enjoyed the pool, beach, friendly staff. Loved the tatami mat area of the room. The onsen was very nice. We really like the nostalgic feel of these types of resorts. A few upgrades with decor here and there, but keeping its vintage charm. Breakfast was nice.

The step up to the bathroom in our room was very high and difficult. There were spider webs over the food at the buffet hanging from the green exit sign. One web directly over the large salad bowl. The onsen tub had tiles missing and sharp edges. There were dark mold spots here and there on the ceilings. The carpet could use an upgrade.

Located near Kobe station, near Kobe Harborland and 20 minutes walk from Kobe Downtown and Chinatown. Great city view for Harbor and Kobe Port Tower. Good for business trips and for short stay in Kobe area!

Windows can’t be opened. No fresh air and smelly ventilation. Bathroom is very basic, build out of plastic (but very clean!)
