Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Nationals.
The 31-year-old broke open a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth inning, ripping a bases-loaded double to the wall in left-center field before coming home on a J.D. Martinez knock. Nimmo has a six-game hitting streak going, batting .360 (9-for-25) during that stretch with two doubles, three homers, five runs and 10 RBI. His 62 RBI on the season leave him just seven away from establishing a new career high.

Mets' Brandon Nimmo: Homers again Wednesday
Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-2 victory versus the Nationals on Wednesday.
Nimmo got New York off to a strong start with a 440-foot solo blast in the first inning. It was his third straight game with a long ball and his fourth straight contest with at least one RBI. Nimmo logged career-best marks with 24 homers and 68 RBI last season, and he is on pace to surpass both totals in 2024 with 16 home runs and 59 RBI through 380 plate appearances.

Mets' Brandon Nimmo: Goes yard in loss
Nimmo went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's 8-2 loss to the Pirates.
The New York outfielder accounted for the only Mets runs of the game, hitting a 428-foot, two-run homer off Mitch Keller in the sixth inning. The nine-year veteran has tapped into his power recently, as he entered slugging .671 with 12 extra base hits -- six homers and doubles apiece -- in 90 plate appearances over his previous 20 games. After missing a game July 1 due to a forehead laceration, Nimmo has batted .320 (8-for-25) with three extra-base hits, five RBI and three runs scored in seven games this month.

Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Pirates.
The multi-hit performance was his third in his last six games, while Nimmo is 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts through 82 contests -- his career high is nine steals, set back in 2018. Nimmo is absent from Monday's lineup against the Nationals due to a laceration on his forehead, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
Nimmo suffered the cut when he slipped and fell in his hotel room Sunday night in Washington, D.C. He passed concussion tests and is expected to be fine, but the injury will cost him a start. It's not clear whether Nimmo might be available off the bench Monday.
