  • Pacers' T.J. McConnell: Extended by Indiana

The Pacers signed McConnell to a four-year, $45 million extension Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

McConnell is coming off a career year in 2023-24, as he averaged 10.2 points, 5.5 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 18.2 minutes across 71 regular-season appearances, including four starts. The 31-year-old guard was a crucial factor in the Pacers' run to the Eastern Conference Finals and is set to be the long-term backup point guard to Tyrese Haliburton.

  • Pacers' Dakota Mathias: To sign with Indiana

Mathias and the Pacers agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract Monday, Tony East of SI.com reports.

Mathias will join the Pacers for training camp, but it's likely that he ends up playing for the Mad Ants. Mathias has 14 total NBA games under his belt, with short stints in Philadelphia and Memphis.

  • Pacers' Cameron McGriff: Signs Exhibit 10 deal with Pacers

The Pacers signed McGriff to an Exhibit 10 contract Friday, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.

McGriff will join the Pacers for training camp and, barring a surprising change of events, will be with the team's G League affiliate for the upcoming season. The 26-year-old hasn't played an NBA minute since 2021.

  • Pacers' Kyle Mangas: Will return to Indiana

Mangas signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers on Wednesday, Tony East of SI.com reports.

Mangas averaged 16.9 points per game for the G League's Indiana Mad Ants last season. He'll compete for an NBA spot during training camp, but if waived, the Pacers will retain his G League rights, so he'll presumably wind up with the Mad Ants to begin the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Dealing with minor leg injury

Haliburton is dealing with a minor leg injury that restricted his playing time during the Paris Olympics, Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports.

Haliburton was under a minutes restriction during the Paris Olympics due to the injury, and he underwent an MRI that was not previously announced by Team USA. The 24-year-old saw very little action in the Olympic Games, but the fact that he played at all bodes well for his full return to action in the Pacers' training camp this fall. Haliburton and the Pacers are coming off a deep playoff run during which the superstar dealt with a litany of injuries, including a left hamstring injury, left leg soreness, a right ankle sprain, a sacral contusion and lower back spasms.

  • Pacers' Enrique Freeman: Signs two-way deal

Freeman and the Pacers agreed on a two-way contract Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Freeman, who spent five years at Akron, was the 50th overall pick in the 2024 Draft. It's not surprising that he was signed to a two-way contract. He'll spend the majority of the season in the G League getting developmental minutes.

  • Pacers' Cole Swider: Inks deal with Indy

The Pacers signed Swider to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Swider was impressive with the Heat's Summer League team this offseason, during which he averaged 13.5 points while shooting 49.1 percent from beyond the arc. The 25-year-old will now have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp with the Pacers after he averaged 2.3 points across 4.8 minutes in 18 regular-season games with the Heat last season.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Efficient off bench

Nembhard totaled 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two assists, one rebound and one steal in 21 minutes during Canada's 88-85 win over Spain on Friday.

Nembhard totaled just seven points over his first two appearances in the Paris Olympics, but he had an incredibly efficient showing off the bench Friday. Although he'll likely continue to come off the bench during the knockout round, he showcased his potential during Friday's narrow win.

  • Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Plays eight minutes as reserve

Haliburton compiled six points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and one assist in eight minutes during Team USA's 103-86 win over South Sudan on Wednesday.

Haliburton wasn't part of Team USA's rotation during Sunday's win over Serbia to begin Olympic play, but he saw some minutes during Wednesday's comfortable victory and was efficient from the floor. Despite his efficiency against South Sudan, Haliburton could have trouble generating consistent production as part of Team USA's talented roster as the team chases its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal.

  • Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Not part of rotation versus Serbia

Haliburton did not appear in Team USA's 110-84 win over Serbia in the Paris Olympics on Sunday.

Haliburton was unable to play in the final two games of the Pacers' playoff series against the Celtics due to a left hamstring injury. The All-Star has since returned, playing in four of Team USA's five showcase games before the start of the Paris Olympics. In those four appearances, Haliburton averaged 2.0 points, 2.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 14.8 minutes per game. However, the 24-year-old was entirely phased out of the lineup by the fifth exhibition matchup, and he has yet to see the floor in the group phase of the Olympics.

  • Pacers' Quenton Jackson: Returns to Indy on two-way deal

The Pacers signed Jackson to a two-way pact Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Jackson will return to the Pacers after signing his original two-way contract with the club in March. The 27-year-old appeared in only three games for the team last season, during which he averaged 0.7 points and 1.3 rebounds. However, Jackson played nine games for the Indiana Mad Ants, and he averaged 22.3 points, 5.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 55.6 percent from the field.

Johnson and the Pacers agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million contract Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Johnson has appeared in only 27 games for the Pacers over the last two seasons. However, the 37-year-old's veteran bench presence has been a bonus for a young team led by Tyrese Haliburton.
