Browns' Dalvin Tomlinson: Ready to resume practicing
The Browns removed Tomlinson (knee) from the active/PUP list Monday.
Tomlinson passed his physical Monday, meaning he's now cleared to resume practicing after having missed all of training camp and the preseason. The starting defensive tackle spent time sidelined due to an offseason knee procedure. He now has two weeks remaining to get in game shape ahead of Cleveland's regular-season opener on Sept. 8 against the Cowboys.

Browns' Dalvin Tomlinson: Undergoes surgery
Tomlinson underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Cleveland head Kevin Stefanski indicated the surgery was successful but did not offer a timeline for Tomlinson's return. The team is hoping he'll be ready to go for the season opener, Sept. 8, against the Cowboys. Tomlinson's main contribution in 2023 was to occupy bodies and set up sacks for edge rushers.

Browns' Dalvin Tomlinson: Will undergo knee scope
Tomlinson will have a scope on his injured knee, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
While Tomlinson will be sidelined for the time being, head coach Kevin Stefanski expects him to be ready for the start of the regular season. Once healthy, the 2017 second-round pick should start at defensive tackle alongside Shelby Harris.

Browns' Dalvin Tomlinson: Shifts to PUP list
The Browns placed Tomlinson (knee) on the active/PUP list Wednesday.
Tomlinson now seems to be dealing with a knee injury that will sideline him for the beginning of Cleveland's training camp. The veteran defensive tackle is coming off a productive first year with the Browns, posting 28 total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, across 16 appearances in 2023. Once Tomlinson returns to form, he's expected to remain the Browns' top interior defensive lineman.

Browns' Dalvin Tomlinson: Gets defense off field
Tomlinson had four tackles, including 2.5 sacks, and three total quarterback hits in Sunday's 27-0 win over the Cardinals in Week 9.
All three sacks that Tomlinson was involved in came on a third down and got the Browns defense off the field. It was the first multi-sack game of his career and gave him three for the season.
