Tyler Huntley: Will work as emergency third QB
Huntley, who recently signed to Baltimore's practice squad, will work as the Ravens' No. 3 quarterback at the start of the regular season, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
After Huntley was released by Cleveland on Thursday, the Ravens quickly swooped in to reunite with the veteran signal-caller. There was some initial thought that Huntley would immediately take over as Baltimore's backup quarterback in place of Josh Johnson, but for the time being Johnson will remain the first option behind Lamar Jackson while Huntley begins the campaign in the emergency QB role. Huntley could eventually retake the No. 2 slot that he held over the previous four seasons.

Tyler Huntley: Reunion with Ravens coming
Huntley is expected to sign a contract with Baltimore on Friday, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.
Huntley has previously thrived as the backup to Lamar Jackson, and the Ravens are in need of an upgrade at the No. 2 spot over the 38-year-old Josh Johnson. Over the last four years with Baltimore, Huntley logged 20 appearances and nine starts. His effectiveness as a rusher will allow the Ravens to maintain some cohesiveness on offense even in the event that Jackson is forced to miss time at some point this season. The 26-year-old spent the offseason in Cleveland before being released by the team Thursday.

Browns' Tyler Huntley: Could be traded
The Browns will field trade offers for Huntley after the team kept four quarterbacks on their initial 53-man roster, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
In addition to Huntley, the Browns are reportedly also entertaining offers on Jameis Winston. The implication is that the Browns view Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the team's top backup to Deshaun Watson.

Cleveland kept four quarterbacks on the first iteration of the 53-man roster and had attempted to trade Huntley, but it looks like there weren't any takers. With Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Jameis Winston viewed as the top backups to Deshaun Watson, Huntley will now get an opportunity to search for a premium reserve role elsewhere. He suited up for 20 games with Baltimore across the past four seasons.

Browns' Tyler Huntley: Plays second half
Huntley completed 14 of 20 passes for 135 yards with two interceptions in Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings. He also gained 19 yards on four carries.
Huntley, who ended up leading the club in rushing yards, spent most of the time scrambling, as the Browns sustained multiple injuries along the offensive line. He played the second half after Dorian Thompson-Robinson opened the game, and the two are locked in a battle for the No. 3 job, per Zac Jackson of The Athletic. The Browns like Huntley's ability to scramble and extend plays, but he was forced to run too much Saturday.

Browns' Tyler Huntley: Lands with Cleveland
Huntley agreed to a contract with the Browns on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Huntley will stick in the AFC North after serving as one of the primary backup quarterbacks behind Lamar Jackson in Baltimore over the past four seasons. The 26-year-old is set to join Cleveland on a veteran minimum deal, according to Tom Withers of the Associated Press. With four accrued seasons under Huntley's belt, this veteran minimum deal should carry a base value of one-year, $1.13 million. He'll likely compete with Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson (hip) for the primary backup role behind starting quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder).
