FFA STUDENTS PLACE SECOND IN STATE TURF COMPETITION
Congratulations to the Landscape Architecture students for their achievements at a recent state-wide FFA competition!
Camden Tech East FFA Team Maura McGuigan, Hatziry Pablo, Wyatt Dzmelyk, and Beetle Wojtarkowski won 2nd place for the Turf Management Competition out of 14 FFA chapters that competed in the event. Maura McGuigan won 3rd place individually out of 51 students and is a recipient of the Rutgers University Turf Management Scholarship.
Camden Tech East FFA Team Yamileth Galvez Hernandez, Madeline Reyes, Jonathan Seetaram, and Arissa Levett won 7th place in the Fruits and Vegetables Identification and Judging Competition out of 25 FFA Chapters that participated in this event. Yamileth won 9th place individually out of 93 participants in the competition. The team also received the Ho Sampson Award for excellent achievement.
