Houston stays hot with isolated showers and storms Monday

Sunday evening a storms chance continue but come to end closer to sunset.

Shower chances remain isolated overnight Sunday into Monday early morning. By sunrise SE Texas is covered in clouds. Sun returns throughout the afternoon.

We’re starting the morning off in the uppers 70s and low 80s and by 1pm it will “feel like” 100 thanks to the humidity.

Heat will continue to build this week as a area of high pressure moves closer to SE Texas. High pressure will also limit the chance for rain.
