Rooms
At the epicenter of Zambia’s Luangwa National Park, Mfuwe Lodge has two family-friendly chalets, each with a downstairs lounge and open-plan layout. The area around the lodge bustles with activity and lively interactions between species, from lion to cape buffalo to elephant to leopard (found in higher concentrations here than anywhere else in Africa), often spottable from the pool and main deck. Mfuwe’s guides can tailor safari experiences to different ages and interests, such as going for night game drives with spot lights to see nocturnal animals like hyena, or on “poo walks” with highly trained rangers.
