Women Who Travel is our space for self-identifying women to share their travel stories, offer advice, and form a community of like-minded travelers. Once a month, we hit the road to bring our community members—a collection of our Women Who Travel podcast listeners, Facebook group members, readers, newsletter subscribers, and travelers—together, IRL. Welcome to the Women Who Travel meetup series!

For the past year and a half, we've been stopping in cities around the U.S. for our Women Who Travel meetup series. Our goal? To bring together members of our community for a few hours, over a shared love of travel. After recent visits to Los Angeles, Nashville, and Austin, we're ready for our next stop. Portland, Oregon, here we come!

No matter the season, we're always looking for a reason to visit Portland—we're huge fans of the fixie bike-riding, kombucha-loving residents that inspired Portlandia. (We've said it before, and we'll say it again: those stereotypes aren't a bad thing, the rest of the world is just jealous.) It boasts green spaces like you wouldn't believe and the city's food scene is one to be reckoned with. Portland gave us the James Beard, after all. Plus, we've chosen to fly into town the same weekend as the city's largest food and drink festival, Feast Portland.

For those based in Portland, or looking for a reason to visit, we hope you'll join us on September 13. Come ready to trade travel stories, gather inspiration for future trips, and meet other travelers who want to do the same. This event will be hosted by Condé Nast Traveler editors Megan Spurrell, Lale Arikoglu, and Meredith Carey, and is open to all self-identifying women.

Make a long weekend out of it

Sticking around? Us, too. Catch us at Feast Portland, where we'll be hosting a live episode of the Women Who Travel podcast on Sunday, September 15th. We'll be joined by Nong Poonsukwattana from Nong's Khao Man Gai and Megan Sanchez from Güero, talking about how the immigrant and first-gen experience has shaped their approach to food. You'll need a ticket to enter Feast, which you can snag here. We'll also be giving away two Feast tickets during our meetup on Friday so a couple of you can join us, gratis.

If you need pointers on where to find the best craft beer in the city, the boutiques worth checking your luggage for, or other tips on how to pass a few days in Portland itself, check out our city guide or browse the Women Who Travel Facebook group for tips.
