The Love Is Blind pods are making their way over to the United Kingdom for a British version of the Netflix show, and if you're as excited as we are, then here is everything we know about Love Is Blind UK, from release date to cast and more.
Is there a trailer for Love Is Blind UK?
There is! On 11th July, Netflix shared our very first sneak peak at the British series. Have a look here:
And on 24th July Netflix released a full length trailer giving us an insight into what we can expect this season.
In the trailer, we see hosts Matt and Emma Willis introduce the cast to the pods, before they get on with their dates. There's tears, declarations of love, and a shocking revelation about Birkenstocks.

Who is in the cast of Love Is Blind UK?
As well as sharing the full trailer on 24th July, Netflix also confirmed the 30 singles who will be looking for love in the pods.
The cast ranges in age from 27 to 37, and features men and women from across the UK, from Edinburgh to Jersey, and there's also a variety of jobs too, from a funeral director to a gym owner to a dental nurse.

What is Love Is Blind UK's release date?
Get ready Love Is Blind fans, because the release date for the British version of the series is finally here! Mark your calendars, because here is when the episodes are coming:
- Episodes 1-4: Wednesday 7th August
- Episodes 5-9: Wednesday 14th August
- Episodes 10-11: Wednesday 21st August
Exciting! Back in March, Netflix officially confirmed the new series will be heading to our screens in August this year, with hosts Emma and Matt Willis saying, "We are so excited to announce that Love Is Blind: UK is coming to Netflix this August."
Who will host Love Is Blind UK?
In August 2023, Netflix confirmed Matt and Emma Willis would take the roles on, and they couldn't be more perfect.
Speaking about taking on the role, Matt said: “I’m so excited to be presenting the UK version of Love Is Blind with Emma. We love the show! It's been such a dream working together and fascinating to watch the process unfold. Experiencing this new project side by side has been really amazing and I can’t wait for people to come on this journey with us.”
Emma added, “I love to play matchmaker with my friends and love LOVE so I am so excited to be co-hosting the first ever UK version of Love Is Blind. I’m intrigued to see people connect on a purely emotional and mental level right off the bat, without visuals playing a part. Plus – you’re getting double Willis! I’ve loved going to work with Matt and we’re both obsessed with the show, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity!”
When was Love Is Blind UK confirmed?
Announcing the news in a press release on 8th February 2023, Netflix said, "Netflix is in production on an adaptation of hit series Love Is Blind, where singletons in the UK who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, will sign up for a less conventional approach to modern dating."
What will happen in Love Is Blind UK?
The show will follow exactly the same format as the US version: "Love Is Blind: UK will see singles talk to a host of potential love interests without the distractions from the outside world, with the hope of building a meaningful connection.
"Once cupid’s work is done, they will propose to their chosen partner and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will attempt to add a physical connection to their emotional bond. When their much-awaited wedding day arrives, will they discover that love is indeed blind? Or will the realities of everyday life and external factors have sabotaged them?"
Can you apply for Love Is Blind UK season 1?
Sadly, applications for Love Is Blind UK are now closed. They were officially being accepted in February 2023, with the casting application revealing filming was taking place later this year. Applications were open for all UK residents over 18.
