Already, people are looking ahead to potential more seasons of the reality TV show. So, what do we know about Big Brother 2024? Will it happen? Will it be on ITV2 again? How you do you apply? During July's live Love Island final, ITV revealed the brand-new Big Brother eye ahead of the upcoming series, revealing it "has been given a fresh lick of paint ahead of the highly-anticipated new series." See the new eye here:

Has Big Brother 2024 been confirmed?

You betcha! Back in August 2022, ITV confirmed plans for the return of Big Brother, following its stints on both Channel 4 and Channel 5. And, what's more, is they confirmed it would be back for two seasons, commissioning another run for 2024 at the same time!

Commissioning editor for ITV Paul Mortimer told Deadline, "This is the start of it, so watch this space. We have really bought into Big Brother." He also teased potential further series, adding, "A lot of us worked on it before [at different channels], and I can’t imagine we are in it just to do two six-week runs."

How do you apply for Big Brother 2024?

Sadly, applications for the next series of Big Brother closed at the end of July 2024, having opened way back in November 2023.

The application process explained, "We’re looking for the nation’s most interesting, funny and entertaining characters from all walks of life. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a great housemate? If you want an amazing experience and a chance of winning an incredible amount of money, we’d love to hear from you."

Who will host Big Brother 2024?

Will Best and AJ Odudu will return as the hosts of Big Brother 2024, after taking the reins for the live evictions and spin-off show, Big Brother: Late & Live last year, and also being at the helm of Celebrity Big Brother.

When the new look Big Brother logo was announced, Will and AJ shared a collab post with the official BB account, with a caption which read, " The original social experiment is back 🐹 Big Brother returns this autumn to ITV2 & ITVX 👁️#BBUK"

Sharing the news that she was hosting the rebooted show in 2023, AJ said, “Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour – and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake,” while Will described the news as a “dream come true.”

The iconic Big Brother voiceover person, Marcus Bentley, also returned for the ITV version of the show, so here's to hoping he'll be back too.

Where is the Big Brother 2024 house?

Viewers can assume it will be filmed at the same place as the 2023 series.

The new Big Brother house has been reported to be located at Garden Studios in West London. Garden Studios is a relatively new studio, having only been established in 2020.

A custom set was created for the new Big Brother house, which includes a brand new house, garden area and a stage area too where hosts Will and AJ welcomed the housemates into the house, and where they greet them after they've been evicted.

We're already excited.
