Earlier this year we got to fix The Traitors-shaped hole in our lives, with ITV's new reality TV game show, The Fortune Hotel, which saw 10 pairs head to a luxury resort in hopes of wining a huge £250,000. And since becoming obsessed with the series, we've been wondering will there be a second season?
Well here is everything you need to know about The Fortune Hotel season two.
Will there be a season 2 of The Fortune Hotel?
Yes! On 25th July ITV confirmed another series of The Fortune Hotel will be heading to our screens, with Stephen Mangan on board again to host the reality competition show.
ITV's director of reality and acquisitions, Paul Mortimer said of the news: "The Fortune Hotel proved to be genuine, talked-about television, captivating the audience from start to finish with its ingenious format and numerous twists and turns.
"Highly acclaimed by viewers and the press, we're thrilled to be bringing this wonderful show back for a second season."
And series producer, Steph Harris, said of the renewal: "We're thrilled to be opening the doors of The Fortune Hotel again and can't wait to see who will be checking in to play a gripping game of subterfuge, and are already planning lots of deliciously devious surprises to ensure our guests never get too comfortable during their stay.”
Who will the cast of The Fortune Hotel season 2 be?
Ok, so exciting news, casting is officially open for the second series of The Fortune Hotel, which means we're totally in for a shot at trying to win £250,000 right?
If you want to try your luck at getting a place in the next series of The Fortune Hotel, then head to the casting website now.
You must be over 18 to apply for the show, and even though you compete in a pair for the series, both members of the pair must apply separately but attach the same video in both your applications.
Applications close on 27th September, so don't delay in sending them in!
What is the release date for The Fortune Hotel season 2?
Filming is expected to take place in October and November of this year, so we then expect the series will arrive on our screens sometime next year. Can 2025 hurry up please?
