Forget thousands of Instagram followers and sell-out stock, the ultimate signifier for an of-the-moment brand is when a celebrity is seen wearing your clothes. Though in the case of With Jéan, make that multiple celebrities.
In the past few months alone, Bella Hadid has been spotted soaking up the sun in the brand's Juni triangle bikini, while Kylie Jenner shared a clip of herself sashaying in the sell-out – but thankfully now restocked – white see-through lace Saint Midi Skirt. And, both Dua Lipa and Emily Ratajkowski have repped the now-viral red halterneck Rose Top.
In fact, With Jéan comprises a lot of EmRata's off-duty wardrobe, with the model, actress and podcast host an early adopter of the Australian label, seen out and about in the Carter Shorts and the Yasmine Track Pants last year.
Yep, there's no better endorsement than a roster of A-list fashion girlies, but co-founders Sami Lorking-Tanner and Evangeline Titilas confess such recognition isn't actually their goal. "While it's really exciting to see celebrities wearing our clothing, there's something truly magical about walking down the street and spotting one of our customers proudly wearing our creations— that's a dream that never grows old," they tell Cosmopolitan UK.
The best friends launched their brand in 2017, when they were just 23 years old, explaining, "We reached a pivotal moment where we realised that our desire to create something unique and meaningful was too strong to ignore."
Having both worked in different capacities within the fashion industry, they had the collective knowledge to make their dream a reality. Namely, a ready-to-wear line of trend-led pieces that feel simultaneously of the moment while also possessing a timeless feel. No wonder, as vintage fashion is a huge source of inspiration for the duo.
"Each collection tells a story and is a reflection of our unique experiences and the beautiful moments we've had together building this brand. Some of our very first pieces are still, to this day, our most requested so we love to rework and remodel existing styles while also still creating the pieces we want to wear and see in our wardrobes."

The only downside, the brand currently ships from the US, with all prices displayed on site in dollars and duties and taxes plus shipping to the UK all calculated at checkout. But hopefully that will soon change, as it seems the future is very much the focus for With Jéan.
"It feels like we are just getting started. We love being able to bring customers into our world and experience our brand in person. We are also introducing some new categories... lots of new and exciting things are coming!"
