Summer Love Island 2024 came to an end on this week [29th July 2024] when Mimii and Josh were crowned king and queen of the villa, ahead of Ciaran and Nicole, Ayo and Jess and Matilda and Sean. Now, the voting stats from the final have been revealed, and it's preeeetty revealing.

After eight weeks of laughs, tears and coupling up, Love Island is officially over for another summer. During Monday's live final, viewers were asked to vote for their favourite couple, who would be named winners of the latest series and win £50,000 to share between them.

While Joey Essex and Jessy didn't quite make it to the final, the last episode saw the four couples share their declarations of love for each other, while they took part in the ultimate Love Island tradition: jumping into the pool fully clothed.

Now, ITV have released the voting figures from the final, revealing Molly and Tom only won by a tiny margin:

  • Mimii and Josh - 41%
  • Nicole and Ciaran - 35%
  • Matilda and Sean - 14%
  • Jess and Ayo - 10%

It’s the first time since series six that the top two couples have both had over 35%, and is the largest gap between top two and bottom two since series eight. Mimii and Josh, we were rooting for you. Congratulations!

During the live final, host Maya Jama revealed Love Island All Stars would be back next winter, to see us through the January blues. Only six months to go!
